Unglazed Clay tile is made primarily in Mexico. It is natural in color, rustic in nature and rough in character with square edges. Usually, the natural tiles are stained and then sealed with an approved sealer to provide color and lustre, although sometimes staining is omitted in favor of retaining the natural variegated clay color.

Interior floors
Fireplace facings and hearths
Exterior floors (Patio floors)

This type of tile does not have trim.

Super Saltillo is clay tile whose edges are cushioned or rounded at the top surface. The clays for the body are more refined than regular Saltillo, hence the product is of a higher quality.
Such tiles are available in:
12"x12" only
A wide range of colors is possible, with some available pre-stained and pre-sealed.
Applications include:
Interior residential floors
Fireplace facings and hearths
Like regular Saltillo, Super Saltillo does not have trim.
