"Monocuttura" means "single-fired." These tiles have red, white or grey clay-type bodies. Instead of being molded, fired, glazed and then fired once more, they are molded, glazed and then fired only once. These tiles range from semi-frost-proof to frost-proof. They can be used almost anywhere unless recommended otherwise by the manufacturer. Applications include:
Interior floors
Interior accent walls
Fireplace facings and hearths
Counter tops
Exterior walls (Verify with Mfg)
Exterior floors (Verify with Mfg)
