Glazed white-body double-fired ceramic tile is made from talc, a clay powder, which is dust-pressed into molds creating a bisque. The bisque is then fired in long (tunnel) kilns. Following the initial firing, the bisque is coated with a glaze and then fired once more to make the finished product.
